Ditton Lodge Remote Learning Timetable
Please find below an outline of the remote learning offer from Ditton Lodge Primary School. It sets out the provision we are offering to our students, both online and in school and sits alongside our Ditton Lodge Curriculum Statement:
Ditton Lodge Primary School Curriculum Statement
The Ditton Lodge Primary School curriculum is designed to help everyone to have the knowledge they need to thrive and flourish in our 21st century global community. Throughout our curriculum the children will:
- Have a sense of belonging
- Be ambitious to succeed
- Excel as lifelong learners
- Experience a world beyond Ditton Lodge
Daily provision is outlined in timetables for EYFS, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. Children who have need of a device have been provided with one. Children were also provided with any exercise books or workbooks that they may need over the next few weeks. Teachers will liaise with parents as resource needs change and provide as much as is appropriate and practical.
Teachers:
Alongside setting and responding to work, delivering live teaching and monitoring the live video feed, teachers are ensuring that they maintain contact with parents, especially those of children who are finding the current situation tricky. Teachers are directing TAs on how best to support children at home and in school.
TA Support:
TAs are being allocated groups in both the live lessons and during independent learning sessions, in order to support specific children, either by pre-teaching, addressing misconceptions or working on targets from individual SEND pupil passports.
Enrichment Activities:
USP Maths Club and Book Club sessions for half an hour each week, KS2.
